Privacy Policy

VoicemailZero is an AI phone receptionist service for roofing companies in the United States. It answers calls that would otherwise go to voicemail and emails the business owner the caller's details. VoicemailZero is operated by Abdul Basit Iqbal, a sole proprietor (not a registered company) based outside the United States. In this policy, "I" and "we" mean VoicemailZero.

What I collect

• Phone calls. When you call a VoicemailZero number, including the demo line, the AI receptionist answers. I collect your phone number, the audio of the call (recording), a text transcript, and anything you say, such as your name, address, and the roofing problem you describe.
• Booking. If you book a call through Cal.com, Cal.com collects your name, email address and anything you type into the booking form, and shares it with me.
• Email. If you email me, I keep your email address and the message.
• Website visits. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are visited, in aggregate. The website has no forms and does not ask for your name or phone number.

Calls and recordings

Calls are recorded and transcribed. The AI receptionist is not currently programmed to say that it is an AI or that the call is recorded, so please treat this policy as that notice: the person answering is an AI, and calls are recorded and transcribed. If you do not want to be recorded, do not call or hang up. If you want a recording deleted, see "Your choices" below.

Why I use it

• To answer calls and pass your details on to the business you were trying to reach.
• To demonstrate and improve the service.
• To reply to you and to schedule or hold the call you booked.
• To text you, only if you agreed to it on a call (see the SMS Terms).
• To keep the website running and understand how it is used.

Who processes your data

I use these service providers to run the service. They handle data only to provide their service to me.

• Retell AI: runs the AI voice agent; stores call audio and transcripts.
• Twilio: provides phone numbers, call routing and text messaging.
• n8n: automation that moves call details between tools.
• Google Workspace: email, including the emails that carry call details.
• Cal.com: call booking.
• Vercel: website hosting and web analytics.

I do not share your data with anyone else, except where the law requires it. The providers above may process data in the United States or other countries.

I do not sell personal information. I do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

How long I keep data

I keep call recordings, transcripts and related emails until you or the relevant business asks me to delete them. I do not currently delete them automatically on a fixed schedule.

Your choices

You can ask me to tell you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@voicemailzero.com with the phone number you called from or the email you used, and I will respond within 30 days. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any text.

Cookies

I do not set advertising or tracking cookies on this site. Vercel Web Analytics is used for aggregate page-view statistics. If you follow a link to Cal.com, Cal.com's own privacy policy and cookies apply there.

Children

VoicemailZero is a business service and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes I will also tell existing clients by email.
